I’m Megan McGuinness,
a licensed therapist based in Los Angeles.

I work with teens and adults experiencing burn out, anxiety, grief, trauma, transitions, relationships, and more.

If you're here, you're likely someone who's used to being capable and self-sufficient. But lately, the strategies that once worked don't seem to anymore.

Therapy can help you find your way back to yourself - with clarity, compassion, and purpose.

ABOUT MY PRACTICE

My Therapeutic Approach

Trauma-Informed Care

Using EMDR, narrative therapy, and other solution-focused modalities to help you process challenging experiences.

Relational Therapy

Explore patterns in your relationships – with yourself and others – to create deeper connection and understanding.

Meaning & Identity

Navigate through life transitions, creative blocks, and existential questions about who you are and what you want.

We’ll work at a pace that feels right, drawing from evidence-based, trauma-informed methods shaped around your goals.

How I Work

Therapy is not about fixing you or digging into your past for the sake of it.

It's about creating space to understand yourself more fully. Together, we'll explore what's underneath the overwhelm: the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you move through the world.

In our work, we go beyond surface-level insight. We take a close look at the stories you have internalized about who you are, what you are allowed to need, and what it means to be okay.
These stories often come from family, culture, systemic messages, and ways you learned to survive.
